The pelvic floor is a complex network formed by deep and superficial muscle structures, the vaginal wall fascia that provides support to organs maintains continence. Changes in urinary muscular system during pregnancy cause dysfunction stress incontinence (SUI). By strengthening these muscles, symptoms of can be alleviated. aim this paper prove effectiveness exercises prevention treatment pregnant women through systematic review available literature. Using keywords "pelvic exercises", "urinary incontinence", "pregnancy", "prevention", "prenatal period" "postnatal period", three independent authors searched database search engines (PubMed, Physiotherapy Evidence Database Cochrane Library) for relevant articles from October 2021 April 2022 using predetermined criteria, selected potential papers. resulted 75 works. papers older than five years, not full text, or written English were excluded. Ten works met criteria included research. selection was made Jovell Navarro-Rubio classification study designs. classified have provided evidence importance prenatal improving contractility. Structured, supervised training increases strength reduces incontinence. strengthen muscles prevent incontinence, reduce intensity improve quality life postpartum. Health experts significant contribution education women. It priority develop standardized educational programs which will effectively applied.
